Impeachment manager, Stacey Plaskett laid out the compelling argument that Trump incited his followers to attack the Capitol building with violence.

She showed how Trump’s team monitored the sites that his extremist followers used to plan the January 6th attack. Trump and his aides knew there would be violence. Rather than stop it, they riled it up even more.

Sadly, however persuasive the arguments of the impeachment managers, it seems clear that Senators will vote on partisan lines and Trump will be acquitted.

But an acquittal at an impeachment trial doesn’t mean he can’t be criminally convicted for what he’s done.

In other news, Georgia prosecutors have opened up a criminal investigation regarding his “find” the votes phone call.

Trump has gotten away with his bad behavior his entire life, but finally, he’s running out of options.

“Truth is truth whether denied or not.” — Stacey Plaskett
