Thanks for your updated advice about short forms . I have come to the same conclusions as you did. I was excited about short form too when it first came out. The original plan Medium announced was that you could read the entire short form without having to click on the link. But I noticed that never worked and my short forms were always abbreviated and you had to click to read the entire thing. And of course, with no distribution, I don't think anyone ever saw them anyway.
