This drew me right in and made me want to read more of your story. It must be so hard seeing the damage people do to themselves. And continue to do. I've had to be in an ER a few times in my life. The doctors and nurses were amazing and I appreciated them. But it wasn't really a place I wanted to hang around for long.

Thank you for taking care of people when they need it. Even if they've done it to themselves, they still need you. And the thing is, it's not your job to like everyone you meet. You're only human, of course, judgment is going to seep in. What matters is that you are taking care of them. Thanks for an insightful look into a doctor's mind.
